Shaun Purves, Community Outreach and Education Officer

Shaun is the Community Outreach and Education Officer.  He joined the PEI Human Rights Commission in November 2023, having previously been a public librarian in Ontario for 8 years, and a public-school teacher (B.Ed.) in B.C. for 10 years before that.

Driven by a strong sense of compassion and justice, Shaun is dedicated to helping the disenfranchised and underserved.

He lives in Charlottetown with his wife and two dogs.
